Eschelon Hospitality was founded by G Patel with the purpose of developing and delivering exciting and unique hospitality concepts to the Raleigh-Durham area.

Patel earned a business degree from NC State University and opened Maanjri Lounge (later to become Pi Bar) near campus shortly after graduation. After selling this first bar, he purchased Mura @ North Hills and started Eschelon Hospitality. Since its inception, Eschelon Hospitality has set the standard for sushi restaurants with Mura and expanded to four restaurant concepts within four years.

Mura is located in midtown Raleigh in the North Hills shopping center. It is a Japanese fusion sushi and steak restaurant that offers the best selection of sushi and Japanese inspired entrees.  Mura has consistently been voted Best Sushi and Best Japanese by Metro Bravo and Citysearch for the past several years.

Sono was created when Patel partnered up with Chef Mike Lee.  They envisioned a sleek and trendy sushi spot located downtown.  The restaurant caters not only to the locals, but also to travelers and businessmen that may be visiting the Triangle area.  This Fayetteville Street hot-spot was voted by Independent Weekly viewers as the Best Japanese and Best Sushi Restaurant in the Triangle for 2010.

The Oxford, Raleigh’s first Gastropub, opened in October 2008 and has since become a favorite spot for locals.  With high quality pub food and great specials all week long, The Oxford has become the ideal spot to dine.  Featuring live music through out the weekend, all the best sports games, and excellent food, The Oxford is truly a multi-faceted establishment.

Dapper Style House, a "boutique & bar" concept, opened in September 2010.  This concept features the latest trends in men’s fashion, as well as current women’s dresses and accessories.  Julkee Fashion is one of the several local designer brands available at our downtown shop. A beautiful birch bar stretches across the back half of the boutique, inviting shoppers to relax on one of the plush barstools, grab a drink, chat with the bartender (who doubles as a stylist) and then start shopping.

Cameron Bar and Grill is located in the heart of historic Cameron Village in downtown Raleigh and serves lunch, dinner and late night menus.  Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating.  Antique photos of Cameron Village adorn the walls, creating a warm atmosphere that plays into the restaurant's 1950s nostalgic look and feel. The food is straightforward American cuisine, paying homage to popular traditional dishes from across the United States.

Zinda, the newest concept by G Patel, is scheduled to open early 2012.  Zinda, meaning “Alive” in Hindi, will be located on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh beside its sister restaurants:  The Oxford and Sono.  This New Asian concept will be an exciting addition to the downtown Raleigh culinary landscape.

We take pride in creating new and trendy concepts in foodservice and nightlife.  Eschelon Hospitality takes every measure to ensure our guests have a memorable experience by operating to uncompromising standards of service, courtesy, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. With the business savvy drive of president G Patel and the help of loyal partners, Eschelon has become one of the most competitive hospitality groups in the Triangle.
